This romantic design is built layer by layer using UV glue, pink and crystal rhinestones, artificial pearls, and butterfly decorations. Instead of trying to make every section perfectly symmetrical, the decorations are arranged organically around the glass to create a soft, sparkling finish.

Materials You Will Need

  • Champagne flute
  • UV glue
  • UV light
  • Pink rhinestones
  • Crystal or silver rhinestones
  • Artificial pearls
  • Butterfly decorations
  • Small decorative embellishments

If you are using our Blush Romance DIY Kit, the decorative materials and tools needed for the design are already coordinated for you, so you can focus on creating instead of sourcing each component separately.

How to Use the UV Light

After applying UV glue and adding rhinestones, pearls, or decorations, press the button on the UV light to start curing.

Keep the glued area under the UV light until the curing cycle finishes. Once the glue has cured, gently check that the decorations are securely attached before continuing with the next section.

For thicker glue areas, pearls, butterflies, or larger decorations, cure the same area again if needed to make sure everything is firmly set.

Step 1: Create the Pink Rhinestone Base

Start from the lower part of the champagne flute bowl. Apply a small section of UV glue and begin adding pink rhinestones to create the main blush-colored base of the design.

Work in small sections rather than covering the entire glass with glue at once. This gives you more control over the shape and prevents the UV glue from moving before the rhinestones are positioned.

Once the first section is covered with rhinestones, cure it completely with the UV light before continuing around the glass.

Step 2: Build the Bedazzled Rhinestone Pattern

Continue adding pink rhinestones around the lower part of the glass, gradually extending the sparkling design upward.

Mix in crystal or silver rhinestones as you work. These lighter stones help break up the pink sections and create more dimension when the glass catches the light.

The pattern does not need to be perfectly symmetrical. Allow some sections to extend slightly higher or lower so the finished design feels more organic and detailed.

Step 3: Add Pearls

Once the main rhinestone areas are in place, begin adding artificial pearls between the sparkling sections.

Apply a small amount of UV glue to each placement area, position the pearl, and cure it with the UV light. You can use different pearl sizes to make the decoration feel softer and more dimensional.

Try not to place every pearl at the same distance from the next. A slightly scattered arrangement creates a more natural romantic look.

Step 4: Add the Butterfly Decorations

Next, choose several open spaces for the butterfly decorations. Place them where they can become small focal points without covering too much of the rhinestone pattern underneath.

Apply enough UV glue to support the butterfly securely, then cure the area thoroughly with the UV light.

For larger or slightly heavier butterfly pieces, cure the glue from more than one angle if necessary to make sure the decoration is firmly attached.

Step 5: Fill the Empty Spaces

After the main rhinestones, pearls, and butterflies are attached, slowly rotate the champagne flute and look for any areas that feel too empty.

Fill these spaces with smaller rhinestones, pearls, or decorative pieces. This final layering step helps connect the different elements and gives the glass its finished bedazzled appearance.

Work gradually and check the glass from different angles as you go. Since champagne flutes are round, a section that looks full from one side may still need a few details when viewed from another direction.

Step 6: Final UV Curing

Once you are happy with the design, slowly rotate the entire decorated area under the UV light and cure any sections that may need extra setting time.

Pay special attention to larger pearls, butterflies, and areas where the UV glue is slightly thicker.

After curing, gently check each decoration to make sure everything is securely attached.

Your Blush Romance Champagne Flute Is Finished

Your Blush Romance bedazzled champagne flute is now complete. The combination of blush pink rhinestones, sparkling crystal details, pearls, and butterflies creates a romantic handmade glass that is perfect for weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, anniversaries, bridesmaid gifts, or simply adding a little extra sparkle to a celebration.

Because each glass is decorated by hand, no two finished pieces will look exactly the same. Feel free to adjust the placement of the rhinestones, pearls, and butterflies and make the design your own.
