In this tutorial, we will go through each flower one by one, then assemble everything into a full dopamine spring bouquet.
Step 1: How to Make the Dried Violet Flowers with Pipe Cleaners
In this section, we will make the ivory white dried violet flowers. These flowers add a soft vintage texture to the bouquet and help balance the brighter pink magnolia flowers.
Step 1: Make the Dried Violet Flowers
The dried violet flowers are made with ivory white pipe cleaners and a butter yellow flower center. Each flower has one yellow center and five ivory white petals. For this bouquet, make 7 dried violet flowers in total.

Take one butter yellow pipe cleaner and fold the top downward about 2 cm. Use the longer end to wrap back and forth around this folded section until it becomes a small round center.
Make the Petals

Use one ivory white pipe cleaner for each petal. Fold the top into a small oval shape, about the size of a quail egg. Then fold the longer end upward and weave it through the frame. Every time you reach the edge, wrap the pipe cleaner around the frame once before continuing. After two rounds, the petal will have four soft lines across the center. Gently adjust the shape to finish one petal.
Make 5 ivory white petals for each dried violet flower.
Assemble the Dried Violet
Take one floral stem and glue the butter yellow center onto the top first. Then attach the five ivory white petals around the center. Adjust the petals gently so they open naturally, and your dried violet flower is complete.

Step 2: How to Make the Magnolia Flowers with Pipe Cleaners
The magnolia flowers are the focal flowers of this bouquet. Make 3 magnolia flowers in total: one bright pink, one deep pink, and one light pink. Each flower requires 10–12 petals.
Make the Magnolia Petals
Use one pipe cleaner for each petal. Fold the top down about 1 cm, then make a loop underneath and bring it back. Hold the bottom of the loop with your fingers, then wrap the pipe cleaner upward to form a second round around the petal.
After both rounds are finished, bend the 1 cm folded tip inward to lock one side of the petal. Bring the remaining pipe cleaner down and wrap it around the opposite side once to secure the shape. Finally, adjust the petal gently until it has a natural curved form.
Repeat this process until you have 10–12 petals for one magnolia flower.
Assemble the Magnolia
Glue the petals onto one floral stem one by one, slightly overlapping each petal as you work around the center. Continue adding petals until all 10–12 petals are attached.

Gently adjust the petals to create a natural blooming shape, then wrap the stem securely with green floral tape to finish one magnolia flower.
Step 3: Make the Bubble Roses by Pipe Cleaners
The bubble roses are used as round filler flowers. They make the bouquet look fuller and softer while keeping the whole design playful and spring-like.
Step 4: Make the Blue Star Flowers and Small White Flowers
The blue star flowers and small white flowers are made with the same method. The only difference is the pipe cleaner color. Use blue pipe cleaners for the blue star flowers and white pipe cleaners for the small white flowers.
Step 4: Make the Blue Star Flowers and Small White Flowers
The blue star flowers and small white flowers are made with the same method. Use baby blue pipe cleaners for the blue star flowers and snow white pipe cleaners for the small white flowers.
The images below show the key steps. If you'd like a closer look, watch the full video tutorial below.
Wrap one baby blue or snow white pipe cleaner around a hot glue stick five times. Hold the base tightly, then carefully slide the hot glue stick out from the center. Thread the longer end through the five loops, then twist both ends tightly at the base.
Gently bend the five loops outward until they form a flat five-petal flower. Finally, use hot glue to attach one pearl to the center of the flower.
Step 5: Make the Leaves
The green leaves help fill the gaps between the flowers and give the bouquet a more natural shape.
Step 5: Make the Green Leaves and Bouquet Filler Stems
The green leaves and filler stems help create a fuller, more natural shape for your pipe cleaner bouquet. They also add texture and balance to the flowers in the lower half of the bouquet.

Make the Green Leaves
Fold one green pipe cleaner in half. Twist it tightly about two finger joints from the folded end, leaving a small loop at the top. Bring both ends downward, then pass one end through the center loop and twist it tightly to secure the shape. One simple leaf is now complete.
Assemble the Bouquet Filler Stem
Attach 2 bubble roses, 1 blue star flower, 1 small white flower, and the green leaf onto the same floral stem. Secure everything with floral tape to create one bouquet filler stem.
These filler stems are placed around the lower half of the handheld pipe cleaner flower bouquet, helping the arrangement look fuller, more balanced, and more natural.
Step 6: Assemble the Dopamine Spring Bouquet
Place the 3 magnolia flowers as the main focal flowers, then arrange the dried violet flowers, bubble roses, blue star flowers, small white flowers, and leaves around them. Adjust the height and direction of each flower until the bouquet looks full and balanced.
Once you are happy with the shape, use hot glue to secure the stems together at the base. Wrap the handle with ribbon in the DIY kit all the way down, then secure the end with hot glue.
Finally, tie the ribbons into a bow near the top of the handle. Gently adjust the flowers and ribbons, and your dopamine spring pipe cleaner bouquet is complete.
