LILY TUTORIAL
How to Make a White Pipe Cleaner Lily
The construction method for this lily is the same as our Gradient Pipe Cleaner Lily. The main difference is the color and finishing technique used for the petals.
- Make all of the petals using Pure White pipe cleaners (chenille stems).
- Make the flower center and stamens using Deep Violet pipe cleaners, following the same method as the Gradient Lily tutorial.
- Assemble the petals, stamens and floral stem using the same method shown in the Gradient Pipe Cleaner Lily tutorial.
🌸 Petal Coloring Tip:
After assembling the lily, take the chalk included in your DIY Kit and gently apply the color to the lower part of each white petal, concentrating the color near the flower center.
Blend the color outward gradually to create a soft gradient effect. Keep the color stronger near the stamens and lighter as you move toward the outer part of the petal.
Please note: For shipping purposes, the chalk included in your DIY Kit comes in two short pieces. This is normal and does not affect how it is used.
